aLyssa Hemmer

Alyssa is a Lighting Designer and Technician based out of Nebraska. Currently she is studying Technology and Design Theatre at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, emphasizing in lighting design.

The first time she hung a light fixture she knew this is what she wanted to. Ever since that first experience in high school theatre this has been her passion.

Getting to work on productions, meeting new people, the collaboration, the ability to always learn something new, and to put on a story that is worth being shared. That is why she does theatre.

To see the end product of everyone’s hard work and to see the audience absorb the world that was created, creates a pride like none other. That is what keeps her going. Every opportunity is a new story and a new experience.
